Imagine coming home to a big flood of water in your house. Your floors, walls, electrical equipment,  furniture and important photos and documents ruined.

Home appliances and plumbing equipment ie sinks, toilets, showers and baths make our lives so convenient, but have the potential to cause tremendous damages and cost us thousands.

Common culprits for causing home floods are washing machines because the rubber hoses are infamous for bursting. Water then flows freely until someone notices and turns it off, and that could be several hours or even days. Other common leak sources of catastrophic home floods are refrigerator pipes, indoor air conditioners, water heaters and dishwashers.

Try and check periodically that all hoses on your appliances are tight.

Try and check periodically that all pipes on your appliances are in good condition, if they look a bit tired and worn CHANGE THEM to avoid heartache down the line because of a water leak.
